Rev. Christen Blore, Bridge Co-Pastor

Christen calls home central Bucks County, PA, where she lives with her husband and three daughters. She worked for almost two decades in healthcare prior to answering God’s call to professional ministry. Christen graduated from Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University where she later founded and served as Director of the Center for Alumni Care and Seminary Engagement for a season. Currently she serves Eastern University as adjunct faculty in the undergraduate Bible/Theology.

Christen believes her second-career middle-aged life station ideally suits her to share the joy and the justice of the gospel in today’s Church, leveraging the Spirit’s imagination, amidst its challenges and its transitions.  Christen is passionate about coming alongside others in the same manner of Christ’s with-ness, soul tending, a good Marvel movie, kingdom building through relationship building, and enjoying a good porch swing with a great cup of coffee!

Rev. Judith Brackett, Bridge Co-Pastor

Rev. Judith Brackett is a second career PCUSA pastor. Before entering Princeton Theological Seminary in 2010, Judith taught for over 20 years at schools in New York City, Philadelphia, and Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

Born and raised in rural Maine, she was active in the local mission church which formed her sensibilities for ministry. Since ordination, Judith has been an associate pastor at a church in Glenside, PA; led a predominately African American congregation in Philadelphia; ministered to children, youth, and their families at a church in Ardmore. PA; and served as transitional pastor at Supplee Presbyterian Church in Maple Glen, PA.

Judith delights in making Mediterranean food, creating hospitable places, and writing spiritual prose. She joyfully practices the theology of the table – an understanding that every table where people gather can be an extension of Christ’s table, a satisfying feast for the soul.

Judith’s husband, Bill Smith, is a recently retired lawyer for the E.P.A. Judith and Bill have two adult children. They enjoy traveling and seeking out one-of-a-kind eateries, tending our garden, and relaxing at our lakeside cabin in Maine.
