MLK DAY OF SERVICE

January 19 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Help Fight Hunger!

First Presbyterian Church in Springfield’s Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Day of Service features service projects that can be done at home. Finished items can be dropped off at the church on SUNDAY (note day change!), January 19 between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. During this time, you can help decorate lunch bags for Meals on Wheels and enjoy a light lunch. Our Deacons will be serving up hot dogs, snacks and drinks for you and your family to enjoy, as a thank you for your participation. So, bring the kids and plan to stay for a bit!

Project details, Instruction Sheets and the sign-up link are below. This year we are focusing our activities on addressing food insecurity, with projects that will go to organizations that serve the homeless and struggling families.
